Get Involved

Each member is encouraged to actively participate in the committees and task forces of the Front Royal-Warren County Chamber. Through active council participation, members will become more knowledgeable about issues that directly impact their business and the community. In addition, committee involvement also helps develop important business contacts.

Please use the form below and indicate who from your organization would like to participate on Chamber councils and task forces. Most councils meet once a month for an average of one hour at the Chamber office.

Small Business Committee

Chairperson: Katie Tewell, The Apple House

Helping to create a climate of success and growth for our community, this council coordinates workshops on today's hottest business topics such as marketing, customer service, taxes, management, employment and other legal issues. Produces informational brochures such as Starting a Business In Front Royal-Warren County, How To Write a Marketing Plan (names in italics) and many more.

Legislative Committee

Reviews local, state and some federal legislative and regulatory issues, and recommends Chamber legislative policy and positions. Also coordinates annual State of the Town and County Breakfasts, Candidates Forum, General Assembly Legislative Preview and Wrap-Up luncheon, and Chamber Day at the Capitol.

Ambassadors

Membership Outreach Team. Focus on welcoming new members, keeping in touch with existing members and year-round resource development.

Annual Dinner & Shining Star Awards

Chairperson: Patrick Nolan, Warren Memorial Hospital

Coordinates annual tribute to outstanding leaders and businesses of the Front Royal-Warren County business community. Also coordinates silent auction.

Plan and coordinate Wine & Craft Festival.

Non-Profit Committee

Roundtable discussions on issues important to the Non-Profit community, coordinate and sponsor seminars and forums.

Education Committee

Chairperson:

Sponsor and support education projects (K through life) and business partnerships.

Tradefest

Assist in obtaining vendors and overall planning of the event.

Tourism Committee

Committee promotes Front Royal-Warren County for the benefit of our members by: providing marketing and advertising promotions; partnering with the Town of Front Royal on promotions; and providing visitor information outreach.

Women In Business

Chairperson: Aneita Bryant, BB & T

The Women In Business Council is a dynamic and interactive forum to empower; develop, and connect female professionals and to educate the business community about this influential market segment.
